User registration - additional info

Users can register to get an EBRAINS account at https://ebrains.eu/register. See the EBRAINS Access Policy about conditions to register. In particular, users are asked to register using their institutional email address. This is typically the email address of the university, hospital, or company that employs the user.
Please only fill in this form if you have already tried registering at the link provided above and your institution is not yet on our list of pre-validated institutions.
Users who cannot provide an institutional email address for an institution that we can properly identify will be asked to go through a personal identification process and should instead open a support ticket at https://ebrains.eu/support in the "Access to EBRAINS" category providing a short motivation for their request.
Update 2023-09-15: with the end of the Human Brain Project very near, EBRAINS is changing (at least temporarily) how it manages requests for EBRAINS accounts. The handling of requests which require more time to process is suspended, including requests from users without an institutional email address, from SMEs, and from institutions which are more complex to validate. Users are invited to still make the requests and they will be contacted when registration is opened again to them. All requests will be acknowledged.

Information about your institution

If multiple users are registering from the same institution, e.g. for a workshop, only one user needs to fill in the form. Multiple requests will not hasten the processing of your request.
This is the name of the legal entity (university or company), not of a lab or unit inside the institution. Please provide the name in the native language using an ISO Latin alphabet.
Same as above, in English. Please do not provide your personal translation. If the above is already in English or if there is no official version of the name in English, please reply "N/A".
Institutions often have multiple roles. Please consider the main role of your institution (not your lab or unit).

Online mail services such as gmail are not valid institutional email addresses and will be refused. See above. If your institution supports email aliases for multiple domains (typically the full length domain which matches the web domain, and a short hand version email domain), please use the official domain name.
If your institution has changed names recently or goes by multiple names or has multiple domain names, please indicate it below. We appreciate information that will help us identify your institution. Please do not include information about rankings, or your personal situation/motivation, or any confidential information.

Pressing the submit button below opens an EBRAINS support ticket for you. Support tickets are processed manually but you will receive an automatic confirmation of the ticket creation at the email address specified above. Most requests are processed within a working day. Some validations require the consultation of the EBRAINS Access Review Committee which will take longer.
